Songkran Thai Kitchen ("Songkran," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect about you when you visit our website at songkranthaikitchen.com, dine with us, or interact with our digital services. This policy applies to the website, online ordering, online reservations, our digital ads, our email and SMS messages, and any forms you fill out on our site.

Name, email address, and phone number when you submit a contact form, request catering, request a private event quote, or fill out a Meta lead form linked to our ads.
Reservation details (party size, date, time, special requests) when you book through OpenTable or another reservation widget on our site.
Order details (items, delivery address if applicable, payment information) when you place an online order. Payment information is handled by our payment processor and we do not store full card numbers on our systems.
Feedback, review content, and any other information you choose to share with us.

Information collected automatically when you visit songkranthaikitchen.com:

Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, screen size, IP address).
Pages you view, links you click, time spent on the site, and how you arrived (referring website, search term, or ad).

Run and measure digital advertising on Meta, Google, and similar platforms, including showing relevant ads to people who have visited our site or engaged with our content.
Comply with legal obligations, enforce our terms, and protect Songkran, our guests, and our employees.

3. Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only in these limited situations:

Service providers we hire to run our business. This includes our website host SpotHopper, our reservation system OpenTable, online ordering providers (ChowNow, DoorDash, Grubhub, Uber Eats), our payment processor, our email and SMS marketing platforms, and our marketing agency Reneka Digital LLC. These providers handle data only under contract and only for purposes we authorize.
Advertising platforms. We share limited information with Meta (Facebook, Instagram), Google, and other ad platforms to run, measure, and target our advertising. This may include anonymized identifiers, hashed email addresses, and event data such as page views, leads submitted, and purchases. You can opt out of personalized advertising as described in Section 5.
Legal compliance and safety. We may share information when required by law, in response to legal process, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Songkran, our guests, or the public.
Business transfers. If Songkran is part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer to the acquiring entity under this policy.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies (including the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, and SpotHopper's built-in analytics) to remember your preferences, measure traffic, and personalize ads. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some site features may not work as expected if you do.

The specific tracking tools active on our site include:

SpotHopper analytics for site traffic and basic visitor metrics.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for traffic, audience, and behavior reporting.
Meta Pixel for measuring ad performance and showing relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Opt out of marketing. You can unsubscribe from our email list using the unsubscribe link in every marketing email, or by replying STOP to our SMS messages. Transactional messages (such as order confirmations or reservation reminders) are separate and will continue.

California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to:

Request deletion of personal information we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate personal information.
Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. (Songkran does not sell personal information for money but may share information for advertising as described in Section 3.)

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents have the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal information we hold about them, and to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data. All other guests. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us at info@songkranthaikitchen.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and consistent with applicable law.

6. Children's privacy

Songkran's website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@songkranthaikitchen.com and we will delete the information.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as we need it to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need the information, we delete it or anonymize it.
